Hey… the New Orleans Int’l Airport bars are great party places. The tourists… and even us locals.. have a ball at the bars while waiting for our plane. One minute, you’re disgusted by a delay.. the next minute you’re dancing half-naked on the bar doing the Macarena or in a conga line doing the Mardi Gras Mambo…. at least that’s what I hear. 
Now that’s a lay over. LOL
I may have even missed a plane once because I was having too much fun in the airport bar flirting with a tourist… ooops… I meant reviewing business plans on my laptop. LOL
Of course, the airport bars are just the tip of the iceberg compared to the rest of the city and the 24/7 party and entertainment center known as the French Quarter.
