[AquaticLife] Need Help

A good thing that I recommend to newbies is to take one or both of the free online tutorials on the basics of fish keeping. If you go to my blog, click on the link to “A to Z of Fish Keeping” and at the top of that page are the links to the two tutorials. They will walk you through all of the basics.
Since you don’t have fish yet… at least you imply you don’t, you should “Fishless Cycle” your new tank to make it safe and ready for fish. You’ll find the instructions for fishless cycling on my A to Z page also. It will take 2-6 weeks to fishless cycle depending on several factors and while it is cycling, you can work up a safe stocking list of fish and find local sellers and start looking at the various fish that you like and you will be able to add them all at the end of the fishless cycling process.
