No. It’s a one time dose. Salt does not evaporate or wear out… well I guess over a really long period it might be utilized as a nutrient but it would take a long time… HOWEVER… when doing your frequent PWC’s (partial water change), that will be needed for goldfish in a 10G tank, top off the tank first with dechlored tap water, then remove the 2.5 to 3G (25% to 30%).. When replacing, add the 1 teaspoon of salt per gallon to the replacement water before adding it back to the tank.
