[AquaticLife] I really messed up this time!
So, do you shim up the tank stand by adding pieces of wood under the legs,or what? Thanks, Jim In a message dated 1/7/2009 10:13:47 A.M. Central Standard Time, uneekfish@gmail.com writes:
Well, I am new here and to fish keeping, but not knew to making mistakes!
I would drain tank water into 5 gallon buckets and rehome the fish there. HOB fiter or whatever you have, make it work in the bucket.
Level the stand so the tank is level. NEVER try and shim up the tank on an unlevel stand - you would really be asking for it then!
Put water and fish back in tank with the filter. Heck, you might just as well get a PWC done while you are at it… So throw some of the old water out and add new!
Good Luck!
