Is the cloudiness white, green or ??? If white, it’s usually associated with a bacterial bloom… sometimes a good bacteria, sometimes a bad bacteria. In a new tank or in a tank that was thrown into a mini-cycle, it’s usually just the nitrifying bacteria blooming to catch up with the ammonia levels.
DO NOT use chemicals for cloudiness. The chemicals are bad for your fish.
