[AquaticLife] HELP!! My husband won’t stop buying fish!
He most likely is stunted right now, but many catfish live long lives and many grow slow so if they are moved to a proper sized tank, they could start growing again. Unfortunately, I just peeked at my own article on fish lifespans and according to my research, “How Long Should Your Fish Live” http://goldlenny.blogspot.com/2007/02/how-long-should-aquarium-fish-live.htm l, Pictus Catfish only live around 8 years, so he could be getting close to the end since he’s been kept in such an undersized tank for so long which substantially shortens a fishes lifespan. I hope he proves me wrong and let me know, in a few years, and if he makes it over 8 years… post a comment on my blog so I can update my research. I need to re-research some of that article since it has been well over a year since I’ve done any major work on that article… although it’s pretty extensive with a couple of hundred common fish listed.
