[AquaticLife] HELP!! My husband won’t stop buying fish!
Lenny I’ve read your blog before about how to stock the 10 gal. Your suggestions are a lot better than the lfs. They suggest 1 inch of fish per gal but they say for each level. So for a 10 gal 10 inches of surface fish, 10 inches of mid level fish, and 10 inches of bottom dwellers. Maybe that’s where hubby got the brillant idea to have so many fish. I realize there are all colors, sizes, shapes of fish out there but we don’t have to own them all. Now he wants to get a male black skirt since the 2 we have are females. He says they’ll get sick if they can’t have relations with a male fish. I have no idea how he thought that one up. I’m trying to convince him they’ll get sick faster if he does get the male. We did have more guppies but I did manage to get some of them rehomed before he caught on. His solution was to buy they pictus cats since we had the extra room from getting rid of the guppies. When I think about the fish situation for very long, that “men” song comes to mind. ” You can’t live with them and you just can’t shoot them, men!” No offense.
