[AquaticLife] Driftwood Cleaning & Curing…. Now, why didn’t I think of this???
I took everything out of my aquarium today and washed it in chlorox and hot water in a bucket in the laundry room, then rinsed well. Invasion of the Giant Diatoms. Or atleast I cuold WISH they were giant, because the larger ones have more character - actually it’s the Attack of the Midget Safety Pins. Apparently they are less than capable of maintaining their shells in one piece, so under the microscope they persistently look like big mats of small safetypins. Smaller than most diatoms, with rounded ends, and 12 striae apiece.
