Lenny is right,you must have a male to stimulated the female to release the eggs, and they love water changes, it usually stimulates spawning. But most likely she has been egg bound for quite sometime, and the stress of being moved just finished her off.. I’m sorry for your loss . This sometimes happens even if a male is present to stimulate her, I believe this has something to do the age of the fish.
