[AquaticLife] Can I put a male Betta in my tank of guppies & one Angel fish?
Male Bettas do not need to be kept alone but do not usually do well with other male Bettas or with other fancy fish with long finnage… a/k/a the angelfish. Male Bettas seem to like to be the prettiest fish in the tank. Go to my blog and on the right side under “Labels”, look at the article called “10 Gallon Tank Stocking Recommendations” and Hailey mentions some different stocking options for male Bettas.
Of course, fish do not always read the same stuff we do so you could always try it and be ready to move the Betta back to his separate tank if he gets aggressive.
