[AquaticLife] An experiment has started…
I hope you didn’t mess up. There was no need to add ammonia first. If anything, you should have added the Dr. Tim’s first, then started dosing ammonia.. or just added fish.. since that is the purpose of the product.
I guess it should still work if the backwards plan of adding the ammonia first didn’t cause any kind of shock issue to the bacteria in Dr. Tim’s.
Your test results tomorrow will let you know if it cycled all of the ammonia. You’ll have to keep dosing ammonia every day until you finally add your fish.
If you were going to fishless cycle with ammonia, there was no need to buy the Dr. Tim’s.. it’s either one or the other.
If he was laughing at the purpose of Dr. Tim’s One And Only to instantly fishless cycle a tank, as if he didn’t think it worked.. then why the HELL is he selling it to his customers… sounds like a crappy person to me. I wonder how much other stuff he sells people that he doesn’t think works… but Dr. Tim’s One And Only does work so at least you didn’t get screwed by him but I’d be very leery of his product suggestions in the future.
