Even the 10G will not be large enough for the Silver Dollars. See my previous reply.
If you get the 10G, you should fill out your school of 6 glofish (or regular zebra danios) and that would fill up the 10G. You could maybe add a Mystery Snail to help with algae eating. See my blog for the article “Hailey’s 10 Gallon Tank Stocking Suggestions” for lots of suggestions on stocking a 10G tank.
Yes, the 2.5G would be fine for a Betta… although bigger is always better!
