An experiment has started…

Well, today I added 4 parts per million ammonia to a 12 gal. tank. Then I added Dr. Tim’s one and only to the tank and filter.
Tomorrow mourning I plan to test the ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates to see if I have a fully cycled tank or not.
Has anyone else done this? I found a pretty good LFS here and I could tell, he had a hard time from laughing at me when I brought up Dr. Tim’s and what it is suppose to do.
Made me nervous, so I decided to test it out first. The 2 oz. bottle is for 30 gallon, so I used half and reserved half in case this fails, I can add more as I do the entire fishless cycle…
