adding salt

Barb, I’m personally not a big fan of adding salt to the pond unless it’s medically necessary. But if you’re going to do it anyway, the dose would be ..1% for spring stress which is 1 pound per 100 gallons. Some folks dissolve it in a bucket and then spared it around the edges of the pond. For this level all I would do was dump it in near a water fall. Use rock salt (Mortons is one that I know is safe for fish), not the pellets. Sue
